ExecuJet To Open DWC Facility by End of 2019

“We will be going to tender for a contract within the next two weeks. We will be ready by the end of 2019,” Mike Berry, president, aviation services, and vice president, Middle East told AIN. “It’s a massive facility. Total plot size will be over 22,000 square meters. Two plots will be for FBO and MRO, and one plot for parking.”

Transatlantic First Planned for GA-ASI SkyGuardian

The first transatlantic flight of a remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) is planned for July 10-11 by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI). The company will fly its MQ-9B SkyGuardian RPA from Grand Forks, North Dakota, to RAF Fairford in southern England. It will then go on display at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) from July 13 to 15. The flight will take more than 20 hours.

Boring Company Gets Approval to Build High-Speed Transit System in Chicago, Will Offer Direct Line to O’Hare Airport

Elon Musk’s Boring Company has won a bid to create an all-new transit tunnel system that connects directly to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport. More specifically, these underground transit tunnels will link the O’Hare Airport to Block 37 of Downtown Chicago, traveling to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
